Make Handwashing Part of the Layout

A restroom plan feels incomplete when users must search for a place to clean their hands. Portable handwashing stations give guests and crews a clear hygiene point, but their value depends on placement, visibility, supplies, and a route that does not interfere with the event or jobsite.

Place stations where behavior happens

For events, position handwashing near the restroom route and near food service when appropriate, without blocking queues or dining circulation. For construction, place the station where workers naturally pass between the work area, restroom, and break area. Avoid active vehicle lanes, door swings, steep ground, and locations where runoff could create a slip hazard.

Keep the conversation specific

Share the date, expected users, surface type, delivery approach, host restrictions, weather exposure, accessibility needs, and whether the site has one location or multiple zones. Review the plan when tents, barricades, generators, stages, deliveries, or changing site phases alter the route.

Nearby planning references include Wyoming, Kentwood, Walker, East Grand Rapids, Ada, and Grandville. Availability and operating territory must be confirmed during final ordering.

Request a planning conversation

Plan with the route in view.

Placement should remain visible, reachable, and compatible with the surrounding activity. Discuss surfaces, weather, service access, and any venue or site-manager requirements before confirming the plan.
